A Flamingo Inspired Thanksgiving Tablescape

Now that Halloween has passed, it’s time to look forward to Thanksgiving.

In my last house, I really didn’t host many parties – which I regret.  Sure, I’m an introvert, but I still love having a few family and friends over for a good time.

My family and I try to rotate hosting holiday celebrations so it doesn’t fall on one person all the time.  Since I’ve sold my house, I probably won’t be hosting any celebrations this year – at least until I find my next place. But that doesn’t mean a girl can’t dream.  And right now, I’m still dreaming of Aruba.

Aruba, by far has been one of my favorite trips to date. So much so, I’ve decided to come up with a tablescape inspired by the tiny island that stole my heart.

The holidays are a perfect time to do something creative.  You don’t have to stick to the traditional decor of turkeys and pumpkins.  On the contrary, you should have fun and get creative. The colors of Aruba are vibrant and bold but it’s those pretty pink flamingos that I can’t stop thinking about.
